R1D2, I left this thread for a couple of days. You left a comment wondering where I had been. I'm back because of your comment. Ophiolite left a comment and the two of you had a dialog. About me. You translated his bible quote. I thought it would only be fair to translate mine for balance. I don't want any trouble.

Mods, will you please close this thread? My question has already been answered. I will not return or make any further comment on this thread. But I don't want this thread to be used to attack my character any further. Thank you.

I would certainly like to believe that. But I have thousands of pages of evidence in my database. Including these posts. The database consists of multiple experimental tests done at multiple different online discussion sites. I am a researcher. I am working on a PhD. in social theory. The experiments form the basis of my thesis which is about group dynamics and the scapegoat mechanism. It is a little hard for people to understand all of what is going on just by reading the threads. I am intentionally using subconscious cueing to elicit specific responses to test my theory. Each experiment is custom tailored to fit the particular gestalt of each site. Taboo subjects are raised and pressed past the point where violence would normally result in the real world. But online, these boundaries can be easily crossed without bloodshed, resulting a wealth of observable and repeatable data.

There is quite a bit that your experiment won't capture, because people are aware of the "group dynamics and the scapegoat mechanism" and so they sometimes (often?) refrain from replying or otherwise addressing an issue raised by another poster, knowing that this would cost them a ban or at least a warning.

The bully is always right, and all that.

I think you still grossly overestimate people's willingness to address tabooed topics online. It may be greater than IRL, but it is still very limited.

I completely agree. Online violence is real. Most of the attacks on me and my character result from a particular incident that took place on thescienceforum.org. I wish I had never visited that site. I am not the one who is psychologically manipulating people. The incident that took place at thescienceforum.org hurt me terribly. I was not experimenting on anyone. The mods and original members bullied and made fun of me for over a month. I experienced chest pain. I couldn't sleep. And my own resultant anger and distraction affected my real life. I am not over it and may never be. None of this is fun and games.

The people who are harassing me have given me mythical powers that are logically impossible for me to have. There are people online who like me, too. I am not some kind of evil super genius out to get people. That is just silly. I am an earnest Asperger's autistic. I really love science. I like uncovering hidden truths. I just ask questions that some people find uncomfortable. Now I am stuck in a mimetic rivalry that I cannot escape.
