Interesting - the idea of the body as a simple vehicle, and the soul the passenger, I presume?

What does God need with a starship?

Just one perspective amongst many on the body as a vehicle would include the vehicle\passenger metaphor. The body can be seen as innumerable things and with each there is new insight.
