Just watch a PBS WNEB ,( Buffalo , NY , USA ) program on CRISPR . The ability to change genes , snip out what you don't want , and put in what you do want . I found a fear of making a mistake . It was interesting that they did not mention that if the " snip " didn't work out that they could then " snip " back into the gene what was replaced . Back to normal so to speak . You just have to keep a couple examples or more of your genome type before the replace . This would make sense . It seems to me that since we can change the DNA for the better , then we can always go back when these change(s) don't work out . Anyway a terrific program . We do still , have to be very careful about what we do .
