Do you lot think that the foreign policy of excessive involvement with the affairs of other countries like isreal has caused the Desaster reffered to as 9/11, is it possible that were forign policy to have been less intrusive that the US wouldn't have been a target :bugeye: ? Did bush over react, In the UK weve had terrorisn and random explosions for the past 20 years form the irish, does that mean we should bomb ireland

? should we have been given military support from america? if not why is it suddenly aceptable for the americans to invade iraq and afgahnestan.

Ultimately the question i pose is mainly aimed at americans, because i know what the feeling in the UK is. But it boils down to the question is the US govt hippocrytical?

And on behalf of Americans I would like to ask "Are you some sort of communist fairy faggot? You want the terrorists to win don't you?!" Now certainly that response doesn’t really make any kind of sence, but its what you could expect from an American, also being that you are British we would probably bring up the fact that we saved you in WWII which is the only fact most Americans can readily remember about your nation.

Of course I'm talking about the kind of slack jawed conservative slob who is currently in control of the country, its an election year, so cross your fingers, though the opposition party's offering isn’t quite a huge leap up from Bush and the conservative coalition he represents, it will have to do.

, in case you didn't notice the only reason you even thaught about entering WW2 was because the japanese picked on you... There is also a common misconception that America singlehandedly won WW2. the main and most pivital battles in the run up to being able to invade gemany were without doubt the battle of britain, which we won by the narowest of narrow margins and the failure of hitlers russian campaigns. The reason america has any claim to "winning" world war 2 is that they showed up just in time to start preparing for the invasion of europe. and the only reason they got involved was because they were atacked. Now ive ilustrated exacly how wrong you are about WW2 i will now move on to point out,

    1. i am perfectly straight
    2. i am an Officer cadet in her majesties royal airforce (so me wanting the terrorists to win isn't really an option as if they do i might die... thus pointing out your ignorence as this is a place to debate and not lay into other poeple)
    3. i am a conservative

So i'm not a comunist i'm not gay and unlike you i allow poeple their justifiable opinions and let them prove facts... youv'e merly proved exacly how much of a fool you are buy simply laying into me like a school ground bully, now if you'd like to try again and show me that the american administration is not at fault for the onset of 9/11 and that there in not a trace of hypocracy your more than welcome, but your reponse is simply tarring all you fellow americans in the same way as ignorant and obnoxious. you sir let down a proud nation of good poeple, infact your attitude and poeple like you are what give americans bad names over here.

I'd go furthur to say that your atitude is a vile and contemptable one.

Go away think about it and engage in some logical debate on the topic.

    Von Axel,

Mooseboy is just one of many angry libs here that just like to stir the pot. He's a troll.
His ilk use such amateur phrases such as "on behalf of Americans I would like to ask..".
I, like many Americans don't let anyone speak on my behalf, especially halfwits such as Mooseboy.
    Now, about your topic..
I believe that the US's involvement in other countries has at the very least sped up the process of adding us to the terrorists top-ten hit-list. Again, both parties are guilty of this. Last I checked though, Clinton had troops stationed in more countries than any previous pres.
Comparing 9-11 with tiny localized terror is just not sound. What happened in the UK is totally different than the fact that radical, Islamic, terrorists are striking around the world killing thousands. Yes, in lefty eyes, this is what we are doing too. Please, get some new material.
I, for one, don't think we are being hypocrites. I think we are simply telling these fanatical terrorists, we are not to be fucked with. How many attacks have been carried out in the US or against it's embassy's since 9-11? And yes, eventually this will change, as does everything in life.

And that was the point, maybe my second paragraph didn’t make clear that the first one was me answering in the guise of an American conservative. These are not my feelings, I was attempting to simulate the thoughts of the sort of meat head who I hear almost daily supporting the war on Iraq cause "All them rag heads is terrorists" and who thinks that the ACLU is a terrorist cell. Things like the baseless accusations that you are a terrorist (Or the craze before terrorists, a communist) and the bringing up America's role in WWII that we way overstate in this nation. The offence you took was my intention to provoke, but I had thought that my second paragraph gave away the fakery, but rereading it I do see that its a bit ambiguous.

And FYI I am arguably a communist faggot myself. Well... more like a socialist bisexual, but same difference to most people.

erm... right. well i wasn't expecting the er... Hmm.

My apologies moose. But i do tend to get quite agitated when poeple lay into my country and myself, it just opened the floodgates.

As for the second paragraph, i wondered why you were insulting yourself for a while, now it dawns on me.
