Axioms are at the very foundation of all forms of logic- axioms are statement that are accepted without proof. "The invariable given" is what I call it. You see it at the ontological base of all supposedly "high-order thinking." It's a temporal microcosm of our interpretation of reality itself. We don't know how a physical universe got here really, but we know, posteriori, that there are incontrovertible evidence in corroboration of a physical universe being true. But posteriority literally allows that any type of analogue interpretation would be corroboratable, once a beginning pattern is in tangible experience axiomized.
