I have just enjoyed a lecture referred to elsewhere in this place upon physics and was particularly taken by the activity visualised at a quantum level. It cover a great deal to leave one with an appreciation of what they know and dont know. Super symetry may go for a rethink which is exciting to see an accepted and dare I say favoured idea not turning up in CERN experiments and all considering a rethink. Thats science right there. Anyways at a laymans level it was a very interesting overview of what we are rather sure we do know. At some level it seems that a particle may be physical I expect ... so is the universe one big pool table with zillions of little balls racing all over bouncing and smashing into each other to produce the quantum environment.
