This too-strange-to-be-true photo and story from Taiwan got me thinking about the connection with the 'Mantis-man' sighting in New Jersey (see below) “Invisible Mantis Creature” Photographed by Police Officer Sparks Debate and the Lizard Man of Scape Ore Swamp with photos of footprints and newspaper clippings. The top photo of the grey-cloaked mantis man is strange because the ground also has the same greyish layering. I can only think of a heavy vapor being secreted which stays close to the ground. It's bizarre, I know. I can't find the original photo which shows the panorama. If the grey extends all the way across the vista, then this wouldn't really fit the heavy vapor hypothesis. Edit: just found the original, but it isn't conclusive. Thinking about it, it's just part of the camera movement and ghosting effect. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
It looks fake, agreed, but why would a policeman put his career in jeopardy? Photo analysts have said that it's real, and something was on the horizon. Weird or what.

Captain, Captain...these people aren't stupid or making things up. They know what they experienced. If it was just one isolated case, then I could forgive your insistence that the Taiwan photo is a fake. But the details just continue to add up. Notice the large paddle three fingers match with the large prints near a lizard man sighting: Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! P.S. I suspect that the green scales are in fact small pieces of insect chitin, which allows the more fluid movement of the humanoid joints. I don't think the 'lizard-man' is a lizard, but a giant insectoid. Perhaps a variant of the flying insectoids which have lost their wings and stay within the confines of large lakes, swamps and rivers. Perhaps they feed on the larvae of flying insectoids which lay their eggs in the silty waters.
I had a thought about the strangeness of the Taiwan photo. The insectoid is looking straight at the camera. If it can induce heightened brain activity in humans, then it can also affect the electrical functioning of the iphone that was used to take the picture.

They call them skunk apes locally. You are talking as though the police believe in the things. In fact, they think it's a hoax. People do this kind of think for a laugh. http://news.google.com/newspapers?n...3FoPAAAAIBAJ&sjid=cYYDAAAAIBAJ&pg=4050,510477
Thanks for the link, which was quite interesting. The researcher is right in that hairy humanoids are also in the area of any large wilderness but they admit themselves that the green 'scaley' skin doesn't match. So called 'Lizard-men' don't exist, but giant insectoids which resemble lizards do. It's a far out concept even for seasoned bigfoot researchers.
Some extra details are given which caught my attention: This is a common feature of the South American flying witch sightings. I suspect that this is a mating male/female pair, with the hooded female holding the long stick used for mating on, like many insects do. Wow, I've just found an interesting encounter with these, which show that they share caves with bats which is fascinating. (Note to self - The Basingstoke Canal cave, home to bats, must be a likely site for them in the summer).
