'Cells found to have emergency RNA reserves' http://www.nature.com/news/2005/051017/full/051017-14.html Cells keep stores of RNA that they can use in case of emergencies, such as stressful conditions. This could be a new form of gene regulation...that is if it is a general mechanism???!!! What else is lurking in our cells?
