The problem today is that both men and women do cheat. Women less so but their numbers are on the rise and nearly 35 percent today say they cheated. That's up from only about 10 percent only 30 years ago. Men have also risen as well at now over 50 percent admit they cheated. So we live in times where it is becoming an epidemic and doesn't seem to be wanting to slow down. The more cheating happens the higher the divorce rate and the fewer normal families , husband /wife, are being held together which destroys the family unit and can only lead to a degrading of society overall. There's no way out unless society wants to change for the better, but why, or laws are enacted to bring harsh penalties to those found cheating like jail time.
i THINK women lib have much to do with cheating , since women get to much head a ques in bed, so man with its hormonal over activity explores other environment then his wife. I remember in the 1970 -80 there was much comments and writing by women lib. that woman should reach orgasm
@ OP, The Opening post seems to think imposing their idea of virtue upon others is the correct solution. There are relationships where cheating (That is a biased name for it by the way) is accepted. I see more of a problem with Self righteous Indignation that the OP represents. Bugger off and MYOB!
I suspect that some people are bored or frustrated with their current relationship, so they try to fill the void with another. I think it would hurt. I would want to know what they found in the other relationship. If my wife was partaking in porn or male strippers, I wouldn't be devastated. A kiss can have several meanings--depends on the intent. I couldn't just jump in bed with anybody, and I suspect my wife feels the same. I think it goes back to your relationship and what you are wanting. Revenge sex doesn't sound very satisfying to me and would probably bring me down that much more. If you're in a relationship that does more harm than good, it's probably not a good relationship. The problem is that an attachment to another person can be a strong tether that binds people through the most unbearable circumstances. People will endure a ton of shit for the sake of love.
In my younger life I was sexually more active , and my wife did not wanted to accommodate my desire , so I found an other female that we had some relationship and I lived so for 22 years until I got caught then come the devastating divorce. Did feel good cheating ? No !! Was she trying to help.. No!!
Of course your woman should have an orgasm. It's a mutual effort to satisfy each other. I hope you're not suggesting otherwise.
