Lori- You have a tendency to lump "extraterrestrials" and "demons" in the same category. Did you know that in ancient texts, a "demon" was a "helper"? Some of the angels who ran errands around heaven were called "demons". When I do support work for a local band that I go to see quite often, I am referred to as the band "demon". Kind of interesting, huh? I mean, would that make the aliens "helpers"?
Lori, Is it possible to take a few moments and enjoy a poem with out tainting it with depressing overtones? I don't mean to be a pain in the ass, but it was a verry well done poem. Hey Lori, Just curious, but how can you tell this poem is talking about demons? Why couldn't it be referring to angels? The line "...messengers of time and light..." sounds more angelic than demonic to me. For me, it brought to mind spirit guides, kind of a Native American feeling.
