Searcher, I looked up the verse in Deuteronomy. I'm glad you stopped at verse 8! But Yes, verses 6 through 8 are why I insist upon pooping on the light. Notice verses 9 through 11 though. Aren't you glad that Jesus was born? I sure am. Listen, I don't want to "stone" anybody ok? I love you guys! And because of that I am telling you that these beings, these avatars, masters, aliens, whatever, do not worship God. They say that the Bible was written by them and misinterpreted, they say that Jesus was NOT the Son of God. I don't know how clearer it could possibly be. And this is scary shit that people are messing around with! What could be more dangerous than messing around with a spirit that the Bible refers to as a demon, a fallen angel, one who is with Satan, and one who's only intent is to deceive mankind, and take souls away from God. You are those souls. What do you want me to say? My intentions are good. All of these channeled teachings and what I refer to as new age beliefs support a spiritual heirarchy, which aliens (if you think about it) fit very nicely into, and so do they, and so they say do we, and we will progress to a new dimension of spiritual enlightenment. But it's not through Jesus. Egotistical prophet? That's the worst I've heard, but I've heard it. I think that this is the one world religion of the end times comin' right at ya. A mass landing would be enough to convince some people? Troubled times...things are getting weird in the world. They have the answer for everything, and yes, I think it's a sugar pill. Searcher, Like Lori said we have met one another in person. Prior to meeting her I expected her voice to be bold and loud...but believe it or not..it wasn't. It was very very mellow. All the things that she says here she says in person..but, it is with a VERY gentle voice. You wouldn't even take it as an ass chewing or anything like that. Maybe that is why I do not have such a hard time with it like you all do. I know her so well and especially after seeing what she was like in person...it doesn't phase me the same way as it does most here. Lori, I see you went to a lot of trouble in searching out the author of this poem. It was a poem. There is no harm in it. Let those get out of it what they want...I do not find it necessary to dig up details about the author. Then again...I do not see anything wrong with her views either. We will all believe what we want and what we choose. So you think it's a bitter pill..well spit it out. For me though ..it isn't. That's the rest of the story... Flash, Thank you for sharing your perspective, as most of us have not had the "pleasure" of meeting Lori in person. Yes, I do picture her as being loud, obnoxious, and petulant, which, according to your description of her, is way off base. I've often thought that it would be great if we could all meet face-to-face, so we could put a "personality", as well as a face, along with the words. I'm sure I don't come across as being anything like I really am, either. In fact, if we could meet like that, it would probably change the "tone" of our posts to each other completely! Searcher, About Jimmy Twyman, are you being sarcastic or do you really think that I believe peace and happiness to be evil? I didn't think it needed exlanation, but it's not that particular content of the message that I have a problem with. It's the intent of the originator of the message to deceive with a smoke screen of what we already obviously know to be true (like sharing, peace, and happiness are all very desirable things), but then attributing the message to someone other than the true God, and through the true Christ. Not all that these spirits share is truth. But it is ALWAYS what most of us want it to be. Satan does NOT deceive anyone through ugliness and hate. There is always something tempting and desirable. What is more tempting and desirable than a religion in which there are no moral absolutes, right and wrong are what YOU determine it to be, there is no judgement, and no accountability, and that in essence, WE are gods, or will become Him through a spiritual progression. "Petulant". I admire your vocabulary. Also, about the comment regarding Flash having too much class to attack me in public. That's not the way I see it. One, I didn't consider what I said an attack, and didn't intend it to be. Two, when she tells me to fuck off via e-mail, I do not consider her to be attacking me, and she does not intend to. Third, I'm not sure if I agree that it is a matter of "class" whether or not to behave or speak the same way in private conversation as in public. I would consider having to alter the true nature of your personality and thoughts to gain the approval of a particular audience to be acting. Like an actor, only you're not getting paid. Oxygen, Yes, I seem to have that affect, and this I MUST change! Ok, demons are angels. Just like we are of a particular type of spiritual being (our souls anyway), so is an angel, and yes they are messengers as described in the Bible. Now, when I speak of demons, I'm talking about those angels who turned away from God with Satan, and are described as "fallen angels". They were not always fallen. They existed for a long time before they fell I'm sure? They are helpers to God with messages, but also with other things, I would speculate. The use of the word elohim (which is a plural form of God) in the creation story in Genesis suggests that they helped Him to create us. So all demons are angels, but not all angels are demons. Now it says in the Bible that God is not the author of confusion, and it also says that God's angels are around us all the time and everywhere helping us, and influencing us and things around us. Trying to help us and to deliver God's message to all of our hearts. It says something in the Bible to the effect of we entertain angels when we think we're alone, which makes me laugh. Notice that they are not OFTEN described in the Bible as presenting themselves in their glory to humans and speaking a message from God directly by sight. And when they do, they identify themselves as the angels of our Lord, and it says VERY clearly in the Bible and warns vehemently that we should test spirits to ensure ourselves of their intent and the origin of their message. Angels can change their form, appear and disappear from our site, speak to us telepathically of course, and I'm sure perform a whole host of other things that we would consider to be miracles and truth. Satan and his demons deceive through peace. The antichrist will deceive many through what? Yep, peace. You HAVE to know where your "peace" is coming from. It's the most important thing.
