Looking at just a few decades is very myopic. It is often useful to zoom out and look at the larger picture. In the last 20k years sea level has risen somewhere around 120 meters. That is a fact that is often skipped in these discussions. It does not deny global warming but it puts the effects of sea level rise in perspective.
