Could Life Exist in Space?

    A couple of people mentioned life surviving on lunar artifacts ... I think those were mold spores -- still viable -- discovered on parts of one of the Surveyor probes retrieved by the Apollo 12 astronauts.

    Unless we revise our definition of "life," I'd say no such thing could ever evolve in outer space, for all the reasons others have mentioned -- radiation, lack of a suspension medium, lack of gravity, etc.
