What are good countries to work in? I have a few opportunities to work in another country and would like some input on the countries. The countries are:

    UK
    Sweden
USA (will be way harder to get a job but i should be able to get one)

If you head to the US, make for a big city (NYC, Chicago, LA). They always have tons of jobs availible. I think awhile ago New York had the best economy city-wise on the planet, maybe second to Hong Kong or Shang-Hai.

What do you do for a living? Seems like that would have a bearing on where you choose to work.

You might want to take unemployment rates into consideration as well.

you do need a work permit to work in the us.. i tried to get one but it's hopeless! 1st you need a job there in order to get a work permit, but companies don't want you unless you already have a work permit.

You tried it already? You wouldn't happen to have a few sites with some nice info on it would you?

With the poor economy right now, it is hard to get a company to hire you if you live out of state, let alone out of country (in the US). A lot of job postings these days say 'local candidates only'.

It is always possible to learn Swedish. As a lot of Swedish people do speak English and learned to do so. Why shouldn't you be able to learn Swedish..?

Yes I did. Isn't it a great language? A beautiful country too. And no, I am not from Sweden.
