I'm as frustrated as you are with the people who "just don't get it." But it appears that outright denial, slander, and impatience aren't gonna make the situation any better. Even if someone appears to be irrational in their unrelenting disbelief, its no reason to be just as irrational. Its better to try to persuade the debate to a point on point argument to make things more clear. I see so many threads with potential that just fizzle away into ad hominem attacks because both sides just get fed up with getting their view out there.

Perhaps we should try and define the terms that we are arguing about first.
