    9. Give one fact about yourself not already provided in the above answers.

    I have red hair.

regarding the ~100 viewings and ten posts is most people who posted were interested in what people after them said and viewed it after each response it would account for 55. Actually if it is counted when you get redirected after posting it's up to 65. So maybe it's focused interest of a few and not recalcitrance ...

    Okay, here goes....

    1. How did you first hear about or discover sciforums.com?
An interest in science somehow led me to this forum, at least I think that's what happened.

    2. How often do you visit sciforums?
Everytime I log on which is daily or every second day.

    3. What city/town/state/country are you in?
    Sydney, Australia

    4. How old are you, roughly? (please answer the poll, too).
    I'm 45 and some months.

    5. What do you do when you're not here (i.e. occupation etc.)?
Occupation has always been in law enforcement administration, am now an intelligence analyst - no qualifications, just on the job training.

    6. Which topics in sciforums interest you the most? Why?
I like all the topics, however I usually start at the top and never get to work my way down to the bottom. I like the free thinking section because I'm curious about people, but I love the science topics because, I guess, as my life changes, my interests change. I've developed a thirst for knowledge for everything, like physics, geology, archaeology, cosmology, chemistry...... everything!
Picking up a magazine on Astronomy changed my life.

    7. What qualifications do you have (if any)?
None, as I said, everything I've learnt has been through living it or research.

    8. Do you have any pets? What are their names?
I would adore a puppy, but alas, it would be neglected while I'm working.

    9. Give one fact about yourself not already provided in the above answers.
    I'm an Aquarian.

AS in Psychology, but majoring in Computer Science. Yeah, well, there's a dichotomy within me, you see ...

Why do you love Sean so?

    Scilosopher...

    I quite agree.
In fact, I can confirm that I personally must account for ten to fifteen of the viewings.
It's a very dynamic thead, if you know what I mean.
'Cause of this, people who (a) know the thread exists and (b) have been interested enough to post are very likely to return to view.
I suppose these are the people who want to not just be talking to avatars!

    1. How did you first hear about Sciforums?
I used to visit it when it was Exosci.com, several years ago. I never knew there was a forum, yet I visited it at least once a day. You see, I used to be OBSESSED with space, rockets, NASA and the like. I shifted interests later, and stopped going to exosci alltogether. Then, last spring I came back, just for laughs, and found this whole new site there! Wow!

    2. How often do you visit Sciforums?
Once a day. When I have nothing to post I just stare at the screen. See, I have NO life.

    3. What City/Area are you in?
I'm in New Jersey. Yup. Nothing more to say.

    4. How old are you?

Well, I watch Golden Girls on Lifetime, I write a ton of poetry, I do weird stuff, like go out and lay in the snow and watch the sunset. Yet mostly I think.

    6. Well, Poetry. Assorted things that have little precednet on the forum...YET! Like poetry and art. I find myslef, howver, in the Politics place most often.

    7. and 8.
    No.

    9. I am happy now, yet on an emotional rollercoaster. Times are a changin', you see. I'm building the outer apparatus of my personality after building the inside last year.

Well maybe us multi-viewers can fatten up the posts a little too with semi off topic comments and general gossip.

    Goofyfish,
Judging by ther number of people who have responded to this thread - and the level of anonymity still involved - I'm guessing space wouldn't be an issue. Personally I just don't have any pictures of myself in electronic format. Or normal pictures either apart from my various ids (well maybe a couple, but nothing recent). I would certainly be curious to see other people's pictures (though I'm sure some jokers would put up cartoons/joke pics/etc).

It's time for someone to invent a disposable digital camera. I think that it's possible to digitize (if that's a word) regular pictures by either scanning them at a friend's place or forking them over to any chain 1 hour photo store.

I have a crappy digital camera now but I lost the software which renders the thing useless, lucky for me I lost the software RIGHT after a total system wipe, losing hundreds of .jpgs of everything.

actually avatar we (my family and I) think it was a virus from this program called 'marketscore.' If you ever see that on the net avoid it, the thing totally f*d up the internet for me and we spent a week ripping apart our pc and then throwing it back together.

I'd start a picture forum if I had any pictures of myself...
