I agree that men tend to be more visual, but men also tend to get labelled as solely visual.
This possibly comes from "traditional" methods of getting a date.
Guys make their initial choice visually and then make a move. Women get to hear him talk, see how he behaves, etc before saying "yes" or "no".
And I've met my share of women who's first (and only spoken comment) has been "Look at that! I know who's taking me to bed tonight"...

But I have met women who couldn't get me into bed... (er, and guys for that matter).

I can understand if she's not someone's cup of tea, but horrible? Not if you're normal.

And I've seen other pictures of her and her looks aren't that different in that picture than they are in "normal" pictures.

 

My experience has also been that men are pickier about looks. Like I said before, I've noticed that men are pickier about looks and women were pickier about finances.

 

Show a little cleavage, smile, and say take me home! and POOF! he is in ur bed! LMAO!

Once I got my weight to below 220, it wasn't too hard to get a man, if not necessarily a particular one...

Women are much more difficult to pick up.
Also much more difficult to figure out when they want you, at least in the US.

Guys just...salivate.

Unfortunately for my social climate, I was very guylike in my mating habits...this seemed to be a turnoff for people.

For me, though, a male, female, or whatever, could be just smoking-hot and if there's a dumb person in there? Oh, instant turnoff!

 

Actually I would say that women are either easier to manipulate or are more shallow.

Evidence of this would Gean Simons's bet that he could walk into a bar and walk out with any man's wife or daughter. This shows that women are either stupid if they think that Simmons is going to provide for them, (especially better than a loving husband) OR they are shallow and only care about the fame above there own relationship.

The next example is Justin Bebo, I have never seen men (of any age) faint, go hesterical, ect over ANY women, be them a stripper or Jenifer Hawkins or anyone else. Women on the other hand go nuts for the latest boy. We ended up treating heeps of young girls for emotional "problems" relating to being within the building with Bebo.

 

ok ok she isnt the worst in the pile but she is far from spot on perfect and the rest of it....

there are far hotter birds out there... My wife for one!!
