I just recieved an infraction for a post:

    I replied

How am I pushing my luck? If tachons exist, then surely they can escape the black hole horizon?

I will make a thread on this, just like I do everytime!

From my recent posts with Mister it is clear that he has a problem with reading comprehension.

I write A and he sometimes reads it as B.

Or he focuses on a minor issue and misses the key point of a post.

Once he read you are properly pushing your luck I doubt he even saw this warning in your email:

He certainly did read it and understand it because he sent this to me by PM before he posted thread:

    . . . So . . . Are suspected dyslexics . . . Not allowed to post on sciforms??

So you think that he knew by posting that he was going to be banned?

Well I disagree because of my recent posting history with him.

There were several posts where I wrote something which he totally missed and several times he's mentioned not doing something so as not to get banned makes me think he missed that warning completely.

Just sayin, after all, he has over 60 posts just today......

Why should it be a secret as to why a member gets a ban?

I guess challenging the scientific orthodoxy is the true crime here. . .

    It isn't.

The reason is on the Ban List page.

I'm not proposing the following right or wrong. It is just an example.

All I am saying is that there are other very educated people out there that have different views about how the universe and it's physical laws are organized. To ban people for merely suggesting things are other than how most people are schooled in the major universities is closed minded and not very open to the scientific process at all.

Seems there could be a lot of disinformation on this cat. . .

Oh no, I checked that out. . . "posting vacuous nosense repeatedly"

I'm not sure what "nosense" is. . . but I am sure it is a Freudian slip for the opinion of, frustrating challenges to the Status quo.

    @prometheus
If you told him that he was properly pushing his luck then that was an invitation for him to make the post again.
You were telling him surely that he was right to push his luck.

It seems unfair first to say that someone was right to post something, and then ban them for it. I think you should look at what you said and reconsider.

What would Santa say if he saw you?

I think it's gonna be a lot quieter around here if "posting vacuous nosense (sic)" becomes a bannable offense.

Right off I expect at least a dozen posters to get the axe.

(you know who you are )

Nah. But posting unsupported bullshit is. Along with making false claims.

Getting banned is "Mister's" main hobby.
He's certainly better at it than he is at physics.

Is clicking on the ban list a bannable offence?

Hardly matters since the thread starter has been banned for 2 weeks.

I've commented on his ability to misread or just whole sale invent the meaning of some of the things he replies to. It's good to know I'm not the only one.

I don't think dyslexia makes you completely misconstrue the entire point of a post.

Really? Wow. Doesn't he have anything else to do with his time? Like a job?

That is not why Mister keeps getting warnings and bans. General dishonesty and disruptive behaviour is.

Normally we'd have 4 threads of Mister's in the feedback and site government forums to spread them across but he got banned before he could make them all so we're having to put all the comments about his behaviour here.
