what happened in the latest Iraq hostage situation involving the UK peace worker, among others? I know the deadline for the execution passed and there was no news. But that was a week or two ago, has there been any news? I read the news many times a day but I can't remember seeing an update. I have a memory problem so it could just be me. Anyone know?
Dunno. I remember hearing that the captors supposedly said the peace worker was executed, but there was no pics, bodies found, or anything else that was mentioned when I heard about it. Then another thing, I heard some terrorist was released in Germany and in the same sentence, it was said the government said it has nothing to do with the prisoner that was released in Iraq. They didn't say who the prisoner in Iraq was so I don't know if it was that aid worker or if some kind of negotiation happened. - N
