IOW, what is the age of time?

I agree time does not exist until it emerges along with duration of change or measurement of something.

    Yes

Time is the measurement of duration .

But time does NOT affect any duration , in any way .

Time then is a consequence of duration .

So, all the stars that we see in the universe experience the same NOW as us?
What about that star which went super-nova a billion years ago and no longer exists as a physical body. Does it still exist in our in our NOW? After all, we can see it's light shining bright and true?

Fact is that star no longer experiences time, it no longer exists at all and has not experienced a NOW for that billion years.

    Yes

    No

    True

    Yes

All the stars and all the other stuff in the whole Universe experience the same NOW as us

NOTHING in the Universe can exist in the past

NOTHING in the Universe can exist in the future

Everything has to be lockstep in NOW

    No

However when the star went super nova a billion years ago we were present in that NOW

What does exist in our NOW is the light on its way to us

    True

Fact is that star no longer experiences time

Fact is that star no longer experiences ageing

Do not confuse time with age

And its absence has been present in our NOW for that billion years

Along with, as just mentioned, the light on its way to us

Do not confuse the NOW of a billion years ago with the NOW of NOW

    They are completely different

    NOW rules

Oh, I am not confused, but you seem to be. The Now of yesterday is not the Now of Now? Eureka!
If only we could figure out what came between, would it be Time or Age?

    Correct

If only we could figure out what came between, would it be Time or Age?

There is no time within NOW

    NOW stands just as NOW

    However

Between an arbitrary point in a arbitrary past NOW and a further arbitrary point at a later arbitrary NOW would be a arbitrary measurement of arbitrary units and given the arbitrary name age

If you say so it must be true

Now has History ; a point in History . Hence A specific point , in History .

Now is a real and specific moment that has a very short duration, a second.
Now I eat is different than I am eating.

    Nope

    Time does not exist

    Only NOW exist

NOW does not have a thickness

1 second refers to AGE which is not time

1 second refers to a arbitrary

start point at previous NOW which no longer exist and

a later point on a later NOW

which is given a arbitrary measurement and named

    1 second of AGE

NOW came into existence at the BIG BANG and since then it has always been NOW

It has never been the past

It has never been the future

    Nothing exist in the past

    Nothing exist in the future

    NOW is all there is

    NOW rules supreme

The main confusion, with respect to time, is times moves to the future, never to repeat itself; history changes. Yet we measure time using cyclic devices like clocks, which repeat. This is not how time propagates. We are not even using the correct tool to parallel the nature of time. The result is an artificial definition of time appears, which conflicts with the observational nature of time.

Run an experiment at home. A clock face has twelve hours and then repeats. Allow time to be expressed for 12 hours and see if all the exact things happen again. You can take pictures before and after. Measuring time seems like such bad lab practice. It is like measuring the size of sea shells with a scale. After you order the shells with the scale, the order does not properly equate to their size; density is overlooked.

Where the problem lies, is we try to use wave based cycles, which are 2-D, to express a 1-D concept. Waves are a blend of distance; wavelength and time; frequency, while time is just time. Time is not a wave, since it does not cycle. Only clocks cycle.

You inadvertently hit the problem right between the eyes

    times moves to the future

    time does not move!!!!

    Time does not exist

    There is nothing to move

    We measure AGE

    *******

Not sure I can pull apart the rest of the post sorry

Then time is subjective: a priori or an ilussion?
