RE: Union leaders speak to WH reporters and described meeting with President Trump as "incredible".

The one thing about Union Leaders I've noticed, they're as corrupt and incompetent (maybe more so) than the Management they supposedly 'negotiate' with.

That aside, Trump is already shaping up to be a real Progressive Socialist. I'm already wondering: which way do you think his predecessor will go, eight years from now?

    Far right or far Left?

That's the question I think is interesting. Now, given the incredible kill count the far Left Socialists racked up last century, this has me hoping Socialists that are on the Right. Nationalists. But, something tells me Left is more likely the answer. Yes, I'm thinking far Left for now. One, Nationalism in a declining culturally dead society like ours, probably not going to go very far. What? Generation Snowflake going to lead the way forward? Hahahaha... not to mention one needs a Nation, and that we lack. Two, our Universities and K-12 (maybe even 14 soon enough) Snowflake producing factories, well, they kind have numbers on their side. We're talking 5 decades of social choice theory indoctrination. It's left a lasting impression

Plus, there'll always be more Snowflakes than.... what's the antithesis of a Snowflake?

That said, we can certainly see the love and adoration (one could say Triumphant support) some people (anti-Snowflakes People - Raindrops, Snowballs [lol]?) have for Trump's use of Executive Powers - it really is setting a precedent, wouldn't you say? I mean, look at how shit-is-getting-done. No more wadding through the crime infested poo smear that is Congress to give a Crony Bankers a Bailout. Just let POTUS do it! Well, to be fair, that's sort of what we did do.

So, let's go long on Executive Privilege.

I also wonder: Who will we invade, 8 years from now? Where will our never ending phony wars take us? When can restart "The" Draft? I mean, think of "The" jobs! All those.... jobs.... Not to mention, a really big war, would get rid of a lot of cannon fodder - if, just to go live somewhere else and be someone else's problem. Harass the locals of some other country. Won't that be fun? AND people were worried automation would take away all those great low-skill jobs at McDonalds!? There's plenty to be done!

Socialism, destroying society one act of violence at a time, for the good of the roads. Ah well, pop the corn, God-Emperor is sacrificing someone tonight

The Socialists on the Right, along with the foursided triangles and feathered mammals with cold blood, don't exist.
And discard our Progressive label? Choose.
No. Being a fundie and bigot is now being a fundie and bigot. Always has been.

There are some white Christian conservatives who aren't fundies and bigots - and they have intellectual representation, are in the public discourse, like this guy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wendell_Berry - but they aren't the core Republican vote.

Via Scott Adam's Blog: Trump and Healthcare.

With the failure of the Ryan healthcare bill, the illusion of Trump-is-Hitler has been fully replaced with Trump-is-incompetent meme. Look for the new meme to dominate the news, probably through the summer. By year end, you will see a second turn, from incompetent to “Competent, but we don’t like it.”

I have been predicting this story arc for some time now. So far, we’re ahead of schedule.

In the 2D world, where everything is just the way it looks, and people are rational, Trump and Ryan failed to improve healthcare. But in the 3D world of persuasion, Trump just had one of the best days any president ever had: He got promoted from Hitler to incompetent. And that promotion effectively defused the Hitler-hallucination bomb that was engineered by the Clinton campaign.

Maybe, maybe not. I see Bernie "Free Shit" Sanders is out there peddling 'Healthcare For All' / Free-Shit. You know, like our K-12 that was so wunderful that Sanders wanted to tack on 2 more years, because the first 12 failed to actually 'educate' anyone in anything than compliance. One decade-long babysitting IQ test.

So, who knows? In 50 years, a Government Hospital will be as efficient and productive as a Government School. Lucky us. Only instead of 20% functional illiteracy, we'll get 20% direct, out of the box no questions asked, morbidity

The Trump-is-Mussolini meme is still going strong, though. Also Trump-as-banana-republic-bigman.
Among the lefties and liberals and the like, you are still going to be facing the same question as all along: competent at what? Not governing the country.
In the US that's not a promotion.
Meanwhile: Unlike the Scott Adams's of this world, the common sense folks see no conflict between fascist and incompetent. Fascists normally are, and have always been, incompetent at governance.

One of the real oddities of Trump's campaign is this loss of common sense in his supporters. You'd think a guy like Scott Adams would take one look at Trump's nepotism and catch on, even without all the rest of his screwing around. You gotta know what he'd think about a corporate CEO who installed his inexperienced children and inlaws in upper management.
