Eat your peanut shells!!

    I always eat my peanuts with the shell, I believe it enhances the flavors and the extra fiber can actual slow/regulate the absorption of the fats, potentially keeping water-soluble vitamins from the nut around longer as well as the shell soaks up water! I have never had an issue with GI obstruction either. Just one observation: "shelled" in the nut world means "de-shelled" strangely enough; I believe the correct term is "in-shell". Thanks!

    I have done so all my life
    It makes them taste quite funny
    But it keeps them on the knife
