    Did you know you can reply to any section of text of any poster by left clicking and highlighting the text by dragging your mouse ? When you do this a little "reply" box materializes. Click it and the highlighted text you've chosen is entered in the reply field automatically.

    I just discovered this and you can use it for multiple quotes, as well. It really makes citing much easier and faster. I think that says a lot about the kind of care that whoever manages this board must have to either have designed it and then added it or just thought to enable it.

    Doesn't work on my iPad, which automatically selects the whole post. Below is an example of what happens when attempting the maneuver, on a post that includes a quoted post.

    You are right. I can select specific text with an iPad on other message boards but not on this one. Maybe the admin has to enable something for that to work here?
