Someone beat me to this already, but in the wrong way. Uri Gellar did do all this stuff in the 70's and he was also discovered to be a fraud. Not that i disbelieve in telekenisis, just that Uri Gellar was full of crap, as is this article. Through my readings on the subject, i've learned (yes LEARNED, i NEVER knew this before) that most cases of telekenisis seem to happen when the person is under intense emotional stress.
Wrong... he was accused of being a fraud, the truth is, that he has most people baffled and nobody has disproven that his feats were/are genuine.
You should read more widely. Geller is a great self-publicist (just look at his recent stunt in commenting on Michael Jackson). He was a stage magician long before he ever claimed to have actual paranormal powers. He has been caught cheating many times. None of his supposed abilities remain unexplainable.
Hi, I would just like to say that Telekinetic powers of the human body are real. Actually, every atom in this galaxy has the power to perform TK, it's just the matter of having the skill to do so. It is a gift that God has given everyone to use for our benefits. The only reason why we don't see it being commonly used in our society today is because the government doesn't want it to go to far. Just imagine this kind of power falling to the wrong person. There's something you guys don't know...the government actually hired special TK able people to complete special tasks. What those tasks are I don't have a clue. But the people that do these tasks and the tasks themselves are kept top secret from the public. There is one word..."Media". Think about it...and come to a conclusion about what's really going on. The nature and normal thing of a human is to find answers from the physical plane, which is finding and believing only in things that you can see, hear, feel, smell and taste(things that can be physically proven); ; for Ex.: you can see that tree, so it's real. But on the other hand, Mental Plane has answers to all questions, either comprensive or non-comprehensive. Believeing in things that cannot be seen, heard, felt, smelled, or tasted... but only thought of in your focused, energetic, and forced mental state. But the only way to find the true answer is to practice your TK abilities everyday. Think of this: Why in the world do scientists believe that there is a yellow hot blazing core in the middle of the earth? They never seen it, heard it, felt it, smelled it, or tasted it...yet they post it in school books for the students to learn. This is going to be mind bogling: Think about Humans and their purpose on earth and in this vast galaxy...this galaxy is full of trillions of stars and other planets that are being cultured by other humans or creatures. The air you're walking through and breathing are gases that are required for us to breath, they are also atoms. Atoms are made up of energy. If you really think deep we are actually connected to everything through the atoms of the air. It's just like nothing is there because the gases we move through are transparent and light. Blow at ur hand and you can feel the air around you. Another thing is that there is a special energy field around your body called Aura (it looks like a force shield with colors that are dependent on what you are wearing; this aura is also known to many religious groups as the spirit that effects peoples moods around you). Every body has an aura even your pen in front of you or your monitor. So just to say, we are all connected through energy...if you think that is non-sense, tell me what fire is made out of.

The process causes carbon atoms to heat up, producing light, an effect known as incandescence....fire itself is actually glowing gas. What the heck does this have to do with anything you said?
How old are you? I don't think you have the smallest clue of what's going on. You are so outdated, and have no knowledge whatsoever, but only speak of your own mind and what you learned in elementary school. I speak of experience. I know about 8 different languages that include english, german, french, greek, korean, chinese, japanese, indonesian, and spanish. I work for the government and have read at least over 50 books about the human body and it's powers, and many from indonesia and china. If annoying little smart punks like you think that we all are not connected through atoms, you must be very stupid or very young. I'm actually glad people like you exist, because you seem to make people not believe in the special abilities of human bodies, which is good to keep the whole world from going crazy. Get a life, and stop being so judgemental about other people, and start judging yourself before you present yourself to the rest of the world.

It looks like you didn't reply to a single point that I brought up, rendering your post entirely moot as it didn't contribute a thing to the discussion. Normally, it would be an entirely unproductive use of my time to reply to a flame post, but it offers me an opportunity to expand on points I made in the earlier post. I think it would be to your benefit, since you obviously had trouble understanding what I was saying. You made SEVERAL claims without offering any evidence whatsoever to support them. You will need to offer evidence for these claims, otherwise they will be dismissed: 1a.The human body has the ability to perform telekinesis. -Supranormal researchers prefer the term "psychokinesis," by the way. 1b. Individual atoms contain the inherent ability to perform PK. -Pk is the ability to affect something through mental processes. This claim of yours supposes that atoms have minds, (and as such they are each sentient and unique beings) through wich they are able to affect other objects. 1c. That there is a God and we are presented with the ability to use PK as a gift from our divine benefactor. 1d. That the evidence for all these claims exists, but we are all victims of the government's misinformation specialists. That even though we each are capable of performing PK, somehow we cannot because the government told us we can't. -If it really was an inherent ability we had, like blinking or jumping, I don't think I'd find myself at a loss to perform these actions just because someone told me I couldn't. 1e. That by practicing PK everyday, you can become better at it. -Pray tell, how do you practice it everyday? 1f. We each have a mental connection to every galaxy in the universe. 1g. That the universe exists in inner and outer "spheres." 1h. That the outer sphere of this spherical universe model is unlimited. 1i. That for some reason our minds are unlimited. -Let me tell you something. The body of scientific knowledge rests on the fact that our minds are limited by the size and density of our brains(Don't dare dispute it without getting some objective data on it.) There is in fact no separation of mind/body. Mind=body. 1j. That there are energy fields around our bodies called Auras. -I've seen these auras personally, through the aid of a filter developed by the guy who pioneered the idea of auras nearly a hundred years ago. I've also participated in photography experiments through which Auras around a living thing can be photographed. I'm sure you were somehow influenced by something similar, or even by somebody else's accounts of something similar. But if you failed to recieve an objective review of anything you're posting about here, then all this is nothing more than wishful thinking. They are not energy fields. 1k. That even non-living things have these energy fields. -Even through all the research I went through back in the day, Auras were only observable around living structures. 1l. That everyone is connected mediated by energy surrounding us. That's mostly done with. Looking forward to your input. Moving on: 2. You state: 1. The environment we live in is composed of atoms. OK. 2. That atoms are made of energy. OK. 3. That these two points combined lead to the inevitable conclusion that we are connected to everything through atoms in the air. Problem with this is that nowhere in your first two points did you make a provision for the idea that atoms form a connection, or to put it a better way, a medium through wich two objects can interact. The only thing that can be deduced from the first two points is that we are surrounded by energy. This is not a logical following, you have failed to prove that we are connected to anything by atoms. In order to save this statement, you will need to somehow come up with evidence that atoms form such a connection. 3. The government's involvement in supranormal research is in fact no secret and the products and conclusions of such research has been declassified since the 70's. 4. I just want to know what the hell that statement about fire had to do with anything.
I love the part at the end where the guy writes, after doing this a few times, you will have to use little to no force to bend it. The author never states that you don't bend it yourself, but you use your energy to "weaken" the metal. Stainless steel forks are VERY easy to bend, and once you do, it's even easier because the metal starts distending, to the point where you can't even use them to eat anymore.
to say that something is not possible like this is the same as people saying that there was no possible way that the world could be round. i am not saying that by admitting that something is possible, you are saying it is probable. but to say that something could NEVER possibly happen with all the billions and billions of people that have lived on this earth before.......that IS idiocy. i personally believe that such things are possible, but i also accept that most of the folks that have made displays of such "powers" were frauds. thats all there is to it. people are people, and as long as such things are not happening with the majority of the public having personal experience with it, there will always be "flat worlders". that is their right. it is also your right to believe in things that exist outside your box. wake up, people! please!!
All forms of energy can be measured. It stands to reason then that anybody who claims telekinetic powers must be emiting energy in some form . If so, why has no such energy ever been measured/ observed/ detected ? Is it because no such powers or ability exists ?
it is probably because the TYPE of energy is not recognized/known by the scientific community at large. remember that 200 years ago, many many forms of energy seemed fantastic and impossible.
All energy, thats ALL energy is on the electromagnetic spectrum somewhere. If something seemed fantastic and impossible a couple of hundred years ago, that still does'nt mean that the energy was'nt there. We have the spectrum mapped from ultra, ultra long wave radio to cosmic rays, so your energy lives either side ofd those. If anybody discovers it there up for a Noble prize. Ain't gonna happen dude. Right, what you're missing, is that 'TK Energy' interacts with matter, to make it move, bend, get hot, whatever. If it interacts with matter, we can make a machine to measure it. But so far, no measurements of it have been confirmed. I'd have thought the goal of believers would be to design a machine which proved categorically that 'TK Energy' was real and demonstrable. But believers can't deliver that. So, design an experiment to prove TK, and get back to us.
well, i dont particularly care if it is ever measured or quantified. all i was saying is this: just because it hasnt been measured yet, doesnt mean it doesnt exist.
