You are correct I certainly did not say it appears that in desperation you are posting everything you can find that contains some sort of mystery to muddy the water such that no one can chalenge a specific matter by using a similar strategy to a flock of birds or schooling fish for I would not say such a thing.

Pointing out where one thinks they are funny never works River, and I certainly will not try to do so here.
Often when you point out that you tried to make a joke folk will then see your words in that context.
If you do and they dont there is no point using a spoon.

And I can understand many folk are serious all the time and regard most humour as just silly.
I tend to see humour everywhere I look particularly I think serious folk are funny, ...

I think the political events are funny...

Its just part of my happy nature and worth remembering when reading anything I write...

Humour is a way of dealing with a reality that is to stressful, to deal with .

 

The only way to survive is to have a sense of humour.
Humour is a great vehicle for getting a message across. If you get too serious, you could die of starch.

 

And if you don't get serious enough you miss the reality .

 

Perhaps you need to actually upgrade the reputation of the comedy books/fairy tales you are so fanatically into...particularly concerning nuclear wars on Mars.

Yep, well let's see, we have Opportunity still giving plenty after 27 mile clock up, and Spirit which has finally kicked the bucket, but both well passed their "use by dates" The MSL Curiosity doing a grand job:
Phoenix of course gave us the first direct evidence of water on the surface.
We have come a long way!
