    Pretty simple thread.

Choose four books you would like to have on an island for the rest of your life, which will most likely be a long time, so make sure they're books you can reread! Feel free to explain why you chose your books.

    Mine are:

    -The Bible

    Lord of the Rings:

    -The Fellowship of the Ring
    -The Two Towers
    -The Return of the King

    Island Survival Guide. (Obvious reason.)
Guide To Making Simple Tools. (Obvious reason.)
    Boat Building 101. (Obvious reason.)
Phone book. (Help start fires until I've made use of the other three.)

I agree with all these choices except I'd bring the Bible instead of a phonebook, both as a PUN on religion (since I'll burn it) and also just for the pleasure of it being useful for once.

    "Bright Star" by Harold Coyle
"Trial by Fire" by Harold Coyle
"The Ten Thousand" by Harold Coyle
"Code of Honor" by Harold Coyle

Why? Because they're that interesting as well as being complex enough to keep my interest. I've read those novels a couple of times already, and I'd still take them to the island.
