    Apparently there is no such thing as a hyperbolic triangle - a triangle is a 3-sided figure.

    Pleas remember this - it is impossible to construct a figure with 3 sides if one of them is a quadratic curve, You will be banned by the mathematicians here for insisting a hyperbolic triangle does exist.

    This means there is no way to determine any areas, and we cannot calculate orbital motion.
    Oh well, back to the drawing-board.

    the experts have spoken: "It's not a triangle if one of the sides is the curve of a hyperbola. "

    I'm probably going to get banned for agreeeing with this, there is no such thing as a hyperbolic triangle; there cannot be such a thing as a hyperbolic right triangle, therefore.

    Except no proof exists that the above is true.
