“Upon inspecting the photograph yesterday morning I noticed, almost immediately, the grey girl in the center of the image, and then the face directly below her,” the amateur ghost hunter told reddit. “If we include the grey girl and the face below her, that gives us a body count of 32 people (including the camera operator), which was impossible because there were only 30 people on the premises at the time.”

So you are going to suggest someone photoshopped the photo I suppose?
Why would someone do such a thing.
Next you will suggest it was a prank.
The photo stands of clear evidence of ghosts I dont know why you are so sceptical.

It's immaterial? So it can't affect photographic film or digital image sensors?

Sure it can. Just like immaterial light can..

Light is not immaterial, you might want to read up on that.

Yes it is..it isn't made of matter, therefore it isn't material.

    1
    material
    adjective ma·te·ri·al \mə-ˈtir-ē-əl\
    Popularity: Top 40% of words
    Examples: material in a sentence
    Tip: Synonym guide

    Definition of material

    1. 1a (1) : relating to, derived from, or consisting of matter; especially : physical the materialworld (2) : bodily material needs
    https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/material

The spectrum of the immaterial runs the full gamut from the physical immaterial like light, space, and time to the non-physical immaterial like consciousness, concepts, and mathematical laws. Ghosts occupy a position on this sliding scale, but lacking full knowledge of their nature, we can at best only speculate.

Matter and energy are fundamentally the same thing. I think Einstein said that. Since you like definitions, here's one:

    Solar sail
Solar sails are a form of spacecraft propulsion using radiation pressure exerted by sunlight on large mirrors. A useful analogy may be a sailing boat; the light exerting a force on the mirrors is akin to a sail being blown by the wind.
