Google has looked like it's behind Facebook and Microsoft in virtual reality race, but recent news tells it may be serious about catching up. I want tactile holograms, so I finally can have a virtual girlfriend which feels real. Also, makes it much easier to furnish the home and redesign it every few weeks. In some German sci-fi novels I came across the term "Formenergie" which could be translated to "shaped energy" - a pity that our virtual reality approaches will not include this for a long time. It'd be the ultimate design tool.
