the deepest manmade hole, Kola Well in Russia, is now approaching 8 miles deep into the Earth's crust. I was wondering if anyone has been able to conduct experiments in the way of gravity at such depths. In comparison to the earths diameter, approx. 8000 miles, it seems like a tiny dent. however, I would be interested in any other significant findings the hole has developed.
