Mandalorians are the best warriors, they have armor that can block even a lightsaber. They have advanced blasters. They have starfighters that can take turbolaser shots. They have crushgaughts that can crush a durasteel bar.
the weirding way it was limited but they could get flashes of what their oponent was going to do before they did. i don't know maybe i am misremembering its been a while since i last read dune books
There were many parts of the weirding way. The ones that you could teach others were limited to resistance of pain, fast movement, limited biofeedback, and a sort of combat trance. Things like seeing the future were limited to certain Navigators, certain Bene Genesirt and Paul. Fremen warrior were just Navy SEAL CRT with a few extra little truicks. Space Marines are Navy SEAL CRT who are practically rebuilt geneticiall and encased in armor that would make a modern day Main Battle Tank look unprotected. And Emperor forbid you meet a Dreadnaught, Chaplain, Librarian, or Captain.
Back to the worriers... Pierson's Puppeteer's perhaps? They were so good at worrying that they owned most warriors!
While the Fremen are an efficient force (i voted for them) I'd have to say the FishSpeakers from later on in the Dune series. I mean, an all women army genetically bred by the god emperor? They would pwn... and if it was that time of the month they would pwn more than one army listed at a time.

Honestly I'm not interested in debating the relative merits of these people, i see this thread as more of a showcase of cool sci-fi warriors. But seriously... it's the Green Lantern... he can do just about anything he wants with that ring
Yeah, that would be true until they met the Sisters of Battle, even the Space marines have respect for those nuns. And I don't argue the Fremen's efficiency in battle. But there are Marines older than Leto II lived to be.
Ahh, but that's the problem of creating a series of fictional warriors before the advent of more modern Science Fiction. Considering Dune is the Father of Warhammer 40k, I'd have to say they should respect their elders. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! [Renrue]
