New member here. I am only casually following your discussions, and throwing in the odd comment at the moment. I've read that this is an intelligent and civil place, so thought I'd drop by and see what's up. I have degrees in architecture and environmental science (x2) and computer science (x1), and half a lifetime of learning all kinds of rubbish. I might be asking as many questions as I answer.
Hello dumbest, I did a few google searches for "intelligent forum" and found other people asking the same thing, eg. at askville, straightdope, quora, etc. After some reading I found 3 refs to sci forums, but I can't recll where.
