Is there such a thing as being hot blooded? My husband and daughter always feel warm while my son and I are freezing. Is it genetic? Is it a skin thickness?

a high metabolic rate can cause these symptoms. hyperthyroid is a possibility.

immune disorder - My daughter is 9 and has never been sick a day in her life. Not even a cold. My husband is 'sick' fairly often, but I think its mainly work related stress. My son and I are rarely sick.
Metabolic rate - My son and daughter are lean, I'm average, and my husband is bulky. But the kids have to ride their bikes, while us adults drive.

I'm always hot; my regular body temp hovers around a 100 to 101.

Nope. It's the fat. More fat, more insulation, more heat. That's why a fat person sweats more. You can develop more heat
if you are always moving about. I think your daughter, although lean, develops more heat because she's always moving about.

I am certainly not fat, and when not moving about heat troubles me more than it seems to trouble others.
I guess everybody is just different, maybe i have inherited some genes that would be more appropriate in colder climates.
My body temperature is lower than average although i dont know wether 36.1 degrees Celcius if out of the normal range.

yeah, my daughter wakes up sweaty and she's hell to sleep with in the summer. She doesn't seem to notice though.

If you are female it must be your hormones then, as the women's temperature fluctuates when ovulating or when having menstruation. It might be higher or lower, it depends.
