Movie stars.. that is. Yea yea... plastic surgery. But, that isn't everything. Take for example Robin Williams and John Travolta.

I couldn't find one of Travolta that looks old... he's the same age as Williams so I think Travolta has amazing genetics.

But what is it? I don't get it.

I would say ,makeup, lighting, the nice clothes, good cameras,. Also training, they look aware of the camera, like they are ready for a picture, not caught off guard.

camrea cant make someone look different, lighting has a little effect but more of a masking effect.

The camera can make a difference, dont ya think? Look at Enmos pics of bugs. with a great camera, things look bright, they pop, look vibrant.

true as far as color saturation and sharpness but in this case with a human subject the attractiveness of the person needs to be there from the onset. with robin williams all they did, as far as i can tell, is add color to his skin and remove the blemishes. with a still camera you can do this after the image is taken but you cant do that with film or video.

If I could find it, I'd show you the video of this woman going from regular, non made up face, to looking like a model (they even show her picture on the side of a bus). They use time lapse photography to film the whole make up process.
She looks like a model afterwards, but her real appearance is the classic definition of a 'Butter Face'.

A good make-up artist can make you look however they want you to look.

Yea I've seen that video. That's similar... but she was going for a photo shoot. They have a lot more to work with. These movie stars, on the other hand, need to look younger while moving and under varying light conditions (like if they go to a party).

However, I can show you the opposite:

Haha. No. It's a term for a woman with a nice figure but a homely face.
"Everything on her looks good 'butter face'."

Butter face comes from "but her face."

It's a woman that has a hot body "but her" face is ugly... if not fugly.

Sometimes people use butter face to mean a woman that has a fat, puffy face but she's cute nonetheless.

I don't consider that woman to have a butter face in the least. She has a fairly sexy face.

Well you sir have way different standards than I do. She's too masculine in the face for one.

If I were having sex with her, I'd feel gay.

    Her face... her jaw...

I get the sense that she is a post-op transsexual.

tbh, i am not crazy about the size of her chest or lower lip. i wish plastic surgery was never invented.
