    What are you trying to say here? What does "more theater than anything else" mean? In my mind, it's [Drake Equation] merely a probabilistic statement of their being life out there.

    I once found a picture in a book of a negative image of distant galaxies--white space, black matter. It struck me hard for some reason. I gazed at it for the longest time.
