How do scientists generate a beam of electrons? How would an experiment direct a beam of electrons into water?

It's a lot easier to use something solid, but in powdered form and to do the whole thing in a vacuum tube. If the tube has a phosphor screen you get a pattern of concentric circles.
    Why?

Why do electron beams make phosphor glow, anyway? What is hitting what?

or just come to forum, copy and paste wiki, pretend you know everything?

internet made every 1 instant professor?

    It's obvious you're not and it's even more obvious you're a troll.

    Yup.
Close but the electrons will not actually hit the molecules.

The electric field of the moving electron will be repelled the electronic field of the water molecules causing movement of the water molecules which means the water will heat up. An electron is much lighter than the water molecule so to get any meaningful rise in the temperature you will need a lot of electrons moving at a high rate of speed.

No the nucleus will be shielded by the electrons orbiting the nucleus so the moving electrons electric field will interact almost exclusively with the electron in the water molecules.

    I hope this helps

    Your welcome!

Thank you very much for the answers.

so the electron in the hydrogen atom is orbiting around the proton?

on which plane? what angular speed? what distance?

1 electron circling proton like moon circling earth?

These answers can be found in any number of reputable sites. I am at work and cannot spend a lot of time on this so you will have to do some work on your own.

    that's funny.

why you answered some questions earlier?

    Which part?
I had some free time. I have a few minutes again.

Here are my answers to your earlier questions.
Which plane does electron orbit on?
There is no definite plane. Don't get to caught up in the moon earth analogy.

    What is the angular speed?
If we continue in the classical definition, the speed would be about c/137 or 2,188,266 m/s.

    What distance?
    5.3 x 10^-11 m

    Thanks again!

what's the correct analogy of a hydrogen atom? how the electron moves relating to the proton?

why there is no electron hitting nucleus? isn't nucleus attracting electrons?
No the nucleus will be shielded by the electrons orbiting the nucleus so the moving electrons electric field will interact almost exclusively with the electron in the water molecules.

why is the moving em field not produce en waves? how 1 electron orbiting 3d space?

hydrogen has 1 electron orbiting around? oxygen has 8 electrons circling around?

all negative fields around the atoms, how they form into h20? how electrons orbiting now?

You are a troll. No one that is really as ignorant as you pretend to be, or even someone truly stupid, can ask a childish question and immediately retort with a more specific question that indicates you do remember facts from one moment to the next.

I see in your other thread that you do not understand quantum physics but think it is wrong. That makes the discussion rather challenging if not down right pointless don't you think?

Regardless here is a picture of the orbitals for a water molecule:

if not bs, what's the mechanism?

please tell us how 1 electron orbiting proton in a hydrogen atom?

    any 1?

Every answer you have received you have either said it is bull shit or you don't acknowledge it and just ask more questions. You really are not worth the effort because you clearly have an idea that is stuck in your head, and nothing will change it.

You apparently for some reason do not like the way things work. I'm sorry but I cannot help you with that.

besides read and believe, any 1 understand the logic and mechanism?

    any 1?

The ones you have been ignoring.
Sorry my young fellow but you cannot learn this on forum. You will have to take classes. I did not have the base knowledge to take Physical Chemistry (quantum chemistry) until my 3rd year of a chemE degree, and it was plenty tough even then.

Of course there is the alternative path of making up stuff that is clearly wrong and pretending it makes sense. This path, while useless, is MUCH easier.

    Good luck on your endeavors.

orbital, energy level, photon emitting, make a lot senses to you?

maybe you you had enough class, let's see it?

    Sure.
Oh come on, the last thing you want to do is learn something! You have made that abundantly clear that you're just have fun trolling and trying to annoy everyone.
