Allow me to expand on the argument against the decisions of the congress. Ever heard of Hamurabi's laws? What do you think about his laws? Not great, eh? But modern law came from that and evolved dramatically. However, just like many people used to believe the law was good at that point, that doesn't make it so. And just like then, many people believe that the congress is making good decisions, while that may not be the case at all. Please, don't say 'the congress says so, tehrefore it must be true". That's an argument for authority. That's no better then the following argument: http://www.sciforums.com/showthread.php?t=57756&page=1&pp=20 Please, make a reasonable sound argument without fallacies, Baron Max.
I think it is perfect for you to act in one way and talk in another. It will attract for you just the friends you deserve. And I see your talent for insult is far more impressive than your ability to reason or engage in cordial debate. I can only assume this discrepency is due to unbalanced practice...?
How can you have an ad hominem without an argument? The funny thing is, you don't seem to know what an ad hominem is!
Explain how so, unless being a democrat is an insult. Think of it more as it is an actual challenge to look at it from the other view.
