I've done my job of providing proof and arguments for my claims. Witness this 1321 post thread for example. I guess nobody here has the gumption or intelligence to come back with a counterargument or their own evidence then. Just as I thought.

Oh, for God's sake, Magical Realist. Stop whining, and go and read the site rules. There's specific mention of exactly the question you just asked in there. You've been here long enough that you really ought to have read them by now.

You have no thoughts about it?

Why on earth are you posting it, then?

    Turn your brain on.
People making extraordinary claims warrant some examination before deciding whether their personal anecdotes are credible or suspect. Turn your brain on.

Then you won't be posting any more links to dubious claims, or making cut-and-pastes from youtube, any more.

Has it even occurred to you that you should be skeptical about all that crap?

    What's wrong with you?

That's entirely up to you, of course. If you're seeking death by moderator, you won't be the first on this forum to do that. Play the martyr if you like.

I'm too lazy to do your research for you?

The whole point is that you ought to be doing your own research, at least at kindergarten level, before you commit to believing all this crap that you post.

Is your refusal to switch your brain on due to some kind of anti-authoritarian streak in you, or something? Do you think that you're taking a stand against The Man by making yourself look like a gullible fool all the time? That's essentially your legacy on sciforums: Magical Realist the fool. The pity of it is that you sound like you have a brain. If you'd only use it once in a while, who knows what you could achieve? You could be so much better than this character you present.

Do you rant and rave about UFOs to your family and friends, like you do here? Or is this just for our benefit? Is this a hidden vice or yours, or do you present yourself as a fool in real life, too?

I do occasionally post ufo and bigfoot and paranormal links on my Facebook page. Amazingly nobody has a cow over there and threatens to ban me or unfriend me for it. See James out in the real world people aren't afraid of discussing topics like these. It's considered interesting and open-minded to entertain such possibilities. And maybe you should remind yourself that you have a whole subforum dedicated to precisely this topic here before you bitch and whine about it any further. Especially when your whole forum here is basically on life support for lack of good thought-provoking discussions.

Unlike you I don't dismiss all the accounts of ufos I post here as "crap" without even looking into them. I'm skeptical when there is a reason to be skeptical. Lacking that, I take the accounts at their word and am convinced of their credibility. That's why I post them here. You're the one exhibiting confirmation bias. You somehow know in advance that flying saucers don't exist and that every one of the thousands of accounts of them are either made up or misperceptions of the planet Venus, meteors, weather balloons, or lens flare. This is not the objective agnosticism of a truly scientific approach, though you hide behind science to push your own skeptical beliefs like a religious faith. Then, when cornered by compelling evidence, you launch into scathing attacks and belligerent ad homs upon my character as if this helps your position at all. It doesn't. What's wrong with you?

It's like the patents office don't look at perpetual motion machines

Their is only a finite amount of bullshit the brain can tolerate before it cries enough and rejects any further attempts to process said bullshit

However the brain being the marvelous item it is can instantly reverse course

Want to prove UFOs are anything (anything) other than a unexplained mundane whatever

    Provide evidence

Want a patent for a perpetual motion machine. Build one, let it run, invite inspection, THEN go get your patent

    Straw man.

There's always a reason to be skeptical when somebody is putting up an extraordinary claim.

The opposite of skeptical is gullible.

It doesn't take much to convince you about things you are already desperate to believe.

I certainly hope not. I'm always on the lookout for that.

No. But I do know that (a) it's incredibly unlikely that Earth is currently being visited by thousands of aliens who choose to reveal themselves only to a small group of credulous alien enthusiasts, and (b) in the many thousands of accounts of UFOs that have been definitively explained, the misindentification of the planet Venus is right up there with meteors, weather balloons and lens flare.

Skepticism is a method, not a belief.

70 years, no evidence. Time to wake up, MR.

Since you don't post any evidence, the only thing that is really left to discuss is why you believe this crap.

Over the past 70 years there have been 259,691 sightings of ufos reported. There's really nothing very extraordinary about it anymore. It's a real, well studied, and global phenomena with real eyewitnesses and tens of thousands of real photographs as well as hundreds of physical trace cases. Pending some future ufo invasion, the evidence can't get any better than that.

So how come we haven't got museams full of evidence?

That's real museams not display houses

And have you heard of the top secret medical facility where UFO occupants receive the top medical specialist treatment?

As soon as all the specialist are in agreement that alien illnesses are not transferable to us (and ours to them) you can expect to see them on the streets

Currently Above TOP secret the discussion is about

1/ do we tell the pope before we release the aliens OR just spring it on him?

2/ the delay the same sex marriage debate put on release program
One of the top adviser's pointed out might not be a good idea to throw up human / alien marriage so soon after the bake a cake debacle

Complication Aliens have a 3 sex reproduction system

How many of those turned out to be the planet Venus? In fact, how many are identified? Or are these the ones that remain unidentified? Seems like a small number.

On the other hand, with 260 thousand sightings, you'd think somebody would have taken a half-decent photo or video of one by now, at least. It's quite astounding that the so-called evidence is as unconvincing as it is.

You're deluding yourself if you think the evidence can't get any better than that.

Making up new definitions for words is a mere picadillo for people who make up space aliens.

Why don't you check some of them out and see if that's what they are reporting? Here's 260 sightings right here:

Here's some photos to peruse. Looks like flying saucers to me..
