This is debated in the USA & other nations, I believe it's a human right and cannot be taken away, even if you killed somebody doing it!

Argue here my friends, but beware I am convinced driving is your personal right!

You need a licence for it; that licence can be refused/revoked/taken away. Therefore, its a privilege.

yes it s privalage, if you kill someone with any vehicle then they should have they're licence revoked, and never returned, and also i think that when a person reaches 60 they should have to re sit they're test to make sure they know the rules of the road

Okay, just who issued that "right" to you or anyone else? And who protects that "right"?

Regardless of whether you think it should or should not be a "right" in the US it is a state sanctioned privelage.
It's not even an issue up for debate.
It is a simple matter of fact - driving in the US is a privelage.

Driving is a privelege. All education is a privelege actually (and sometimes unfortunately).

At any rate, I'm sure Amnesty International et al. will not be taking driving into its list of considerations.

Well, it's not that easy, is it? If the gays get to change the marriage laws, why can't we change the driving laws as well?

Yes it is that easy, actually.
The point is you will have to change the laws to do that.
Right now, driving is NOT a right in the US.

Read his question and read my answer.

yea but the gay law was a predujice law and this is more of a common sense why should it be a right to use oil that starts wars and cuases the planet to suffer

Driving should be a right like walking, it is not as if one could hold a job, shop, visit friends, with out driving.
These prick head idealists that want to do away with motor car should shut up until there is an alternative.

do you still have drivers education in the usa? i think that is a good idea, because it gives kids some idea of the road and the saftey of the road, and i wish they did it here aswell

But walking in many places isn't legal either! Thus walking is NOT a right.

Well, when you're rich enough to hire taxiis and limosines, or have your own LearJet, then you don't need to drive a car, Sam!!

You are all fools! Can you not see the beauty of my argument... driving is not a privilege just as walking is not one either, these are innate human RIGHTS and cannot be taken away. If everyone in the world died you could easily drive a car, but only those with power can take that innate right away from us. That means it's a RIGHT not a privilege, and those seeking to pretend that it is a PRIVILEGE are sick, they're not just sick but disgusting to me. We should make them suffer by running them over!
