I never argued that. I'd ask you to quote where I have done so, but the last time I did that I was banned by your bff James.

I posted that in part to see if a similar piece would get exactly the same sort of knee-jerk reaction from conservatives. Thanks for the demonstration.

    You brought it up.
You thought you did. You thought you were talking about American leftwingers, using your Danish study there, and you thought I was among them.
Hence your hero worship. You need to get out more, your circle of acquaintances is peculiarly limited.
You can't see a pencil neck when it's in front of you? That may explain your presumptions regarding lefties and righties.

The rightwing lunatic fringe in Denmark, as in the US, is generally a mob of punks - chickenhawks, closet cases, war hero wannabes, video game tough guys, belligerent fatsos, choir boys with insecurities, gun carrying cowards who jump teenage boys and then shoot them when they get their asses kicked, bullies who use political power to abuse people, cheerleaders who start fights for others to get hurt in.

The problem in the US is that these guys have acquired real political power. In Denmark not so much. Hence your inability to analyze the study you linked.

No, I never asked about your musculature. You mentioned it without any prompting from me.

So now you're backpedaling by saying I didn't mention your musculature, I simply thought I did. From where did you acquire this fantastic ability to read minds? Were you bitten by a radioactive feminist or somesuch?

I'm talking about trends that occurs among people of similar political ideologies.

Nope. You weren't even on my mind until you stormed into my thread with your defensive comments about your musculature. You could be the Incredible Hulk for all I care, that wouldn't detract from the observations made in the quoted study, nor my own anecdotal experience with lefties. We are talking about trends, after all.

I can't see how large a man's chest or bicep muscles are from looking at his face. I guess your supernatural abilities aren't just limited to reading minds.

You scoffed at my saying that this was a study on evolutionary behaviour and referenced the abstract and highlighted the word "political" in it. I'd suggest you go back to your post # 36 for reference.

Had you read the study, it is clear you would not have misrepresented it in your OP, nor would you continue to misrepresent it as you have done.

Can you please cease and desist in avoiding the fact that you deliberately misrepresented the study in your OP and made claims about the study that are not backed by the study itself. Why did you misrepresent the study in your OP, tali89? Do you know what the words "intellectual dishonesty" means?

Are you talking about the study you clearly have not read? Because your so called "anecdotal experience" with "lefties" is not supported by the study you keep referencing and misrepresenting. Perhaps you should take to reading past the abstract and the Daily Mail and actually read the study itself.

Because the study clearly found that one's penchant for redistribution of wealth (ie, "lefties") is not solely dependent on one's bicep size and has everything to do with evolution. Because the study clearly found that people with large biceps but from a lower or poorer socio-economic status, tended to favour redistribution of wealth (ie "lefties"). As are men with smaller biceps who are from a higher and wealthier socio-economic status. The study also found that men with smaller biceps from lower socio-economic status, tend to not favour redistribution (ie "righties"), and the same goes for men with large biceps from higher socio-economic status. This directly contradicts your claims in the OP.

One's leanings towards the right does not solely connect with being stronger or with bigger muscles. It has more to do with their socio-economic status and everything to do with evolution.

I would suggest you clear up why you directly misrepresented the study, tali89. Or your time here will be very very short. Have I made myself clearer for you now?

So you're not going to quote where I allegedly claimed that "(the study) is not really about understanding human behaviour and evolution?" Yep, nothing new to see here. Move along, folks.

What have I misrepresented? Note that when you try and build a case against me, it would benefit you to provide direct quotations, rather than make more pathetic attempts to paraphrase my views.

What's with your tendency to use the phrase 'cease and desist'? Do you think your use of legal jargon grants you some sort of authoritative tone? I'm not impressed. It would be better for your credibility if you stopped misrepresenting others.

Crystal. And as I've told you a multitude of times in the past, I couldn't care less. I'm well acquainted with what happens to right-wingers on this forum who don't behave like witless addled caricatures to be ridiculed and bogged down in arguing against misrepresentations and rhetorical traps. Your bag of tricks doesn't work against me, so in order to level the playing field you need to wave Damocles sword and threaten to muzzle me. It's rather sad that the only way you guys can claim even a partial victory is to moderate the debates you have with me. Here you are in the heart of your left-wing echo chamber with a number of supporters who are all getting a boot in on me, and you still feel the need to censor your opponent when the discussion isn't going your way.

By the way, I'm still waiting on an explanation on how a study which analyzed musculature in relation to political views was not (at least in part) a political study. Now that you've got all the ad hominems out of your system, perhaps you'd like to reconcile this apparent inconsistency in your view. You should have a few hours before your bff permabans my ass for not playing your rhetorical games.
