Details please. Runs slow all the time no matter what you're doing? Or when you're doing certain tasks? What hardware, what OS? How much RAM [hugely important, that's a major factor in slow systems]. The more info you can give the more people can help. What EXACTLY are you doing that appears slow to you? Rendering 3D graphics, playing games, writing text docs, surfing the web? Detail details details. It's like taking your car to the mechanic and saying "it's not running well." What does that mean? Doesn't stop when you hit the brakes? Doesn't go when you hit the accelerator? The mechanic needs to know EXACTLY what's going on.

    What type? X or M?

Whenever my Mac runs slow I drop the "Iron Spinnaker" in the water and fire that baby up.

MacBook Pro (early 2015), mac os x sierra
Sometimes when surfing the web, sometimes when playing.

If you don't want to answer the question why do you write here at all? I hate the person who behaves arrogantly.

Wow. Kid. You just do not get how this works, do you?

"My computer is slow. Please tell me how to make it not slow."

someguy has done some of your work for you, by telling you what you should have provided in order for anyone to help you. And you flame him.

    Good luck with that.

First of all, you should delete cache, logs, unneeded files, remove large or old files etc. I recommend to use cleaning tools, these tools can solve this problem easily. By the way, find out more useful info here - makemacfast.com
