Hello, I have a question for Manga readers, I’m specifically gearing towards Asian Manga readers, why do most, if not all, of the characters have anglo-saxon features?

I don't know any Anglo-Saxons that actually look like most manga/anime...

Manga: Generally manga characters have big eyes, pointy chin, small lips and black hair. (example).
Japanese: Compare this to 'stylized' photos of japanese, (photo example) and I see a strong resemblance.
American: Compared to 'stylized' photos of Americans, (American Idol photo example) there isn't much resemblace.
African Manga: As another comparison point, African manga characters (although very few) generally also tend to have the same general features but with exagerated race specifics like big lips: example.

Basically, I think the character are so stylized that we assume they are 'our' race. The big eyes, pointy chin and flamboyant hair make it more interesting to look at... I think that's the only reason it's done.
