    • At some point one needs to support such extraordinary assertions.
Most of the murders in Chicago and though-out the USA, are done by those use a form of relative morality, as taught by atheism and liberalism. What most of these murderers believe and do, is not taught by any of the main religions. Christianity does not teach murder, stealing, extortion, addiction, etc. This is justified by the liberal and atheist philosophy, which states that morals are relative. How many of the gang bangers who find religion commit crime? How many who use relative morality commit crime?

We would be better off not allowing atheists and liberals to enter the country, since they tend to commit most of the murder and crime. This is not publicized, since the liberal media is not under laws of morality.

For example, 70% of the felons in the USA, register as Democrats. This party is a source of problems since it appeals to criminals. The leaders, set the example of corruption, that is justified and allowed. Harry Reid has got rich with land grab scams using his position of power, yet this is OK since it is relative morality.

This could also explain why Obama will not label ISIS, as Muslim Extremist. Rather he tries to justify them as merged with Muslims. ISIS is a hybrid of relative morality and religion. Obama can relate to their crime side, while the religious merger allow him to perpetuates the atheist scape goat; religion.

If ISIS was isolated as Muslim extremist, this will shines light on the relative morality side, that cheery picks for its own needs, instead of the overall schema of Muslim morality.

Except as is the norm with you, none of that is true. What you are doing is what you have always done, mindlessly repeat material you have heard in Republican echo chambers. Unfortunately, as you have repeatedly demonstrated, Republican policy has been and continues to be based upon fiction. You can't run a country based upon lies. But that is what the Republican Party has done.

Enter bullshit from stage right.. Here comes Wellwisher..

You have evidence to back this up of course?

I take it you haven't spent time reading the Bible where mass killings of innocents is the norm and where in the Old Testament, parents are instructed to even murder their own children for disobeying, for example?

If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and, though they discipline him, will not listen to them, then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gate of the place where he lives, and they shall say to the elders of his city, ‘This our son is stubborn and rebellious; he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.’ Then all the men of the city shall stone him to death with stones. So you shall purge the evil from your midst, and all Israel shall hear, and fear. [Deuteronomy 21:18-21]
    Doesn't ring a bell?

    How about:

The eye that mocks a father and scorns to obey a mother will be picked out by the ravens of the valley and eaten by the vultures. [Proverbs 30:17]

And on and on it goes.

    Suffer the little children..

Or how about non-believers, what does the Christian Bible say about that? Love them? Treat them as brothers and sisters? Not kill them?

If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which the LORD thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the LORD thy God, in transgressing his covenant; 17:3 And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded; 17:4 And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel; 17:5 Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die. [Deuteronomy 17]

Naw, not teaching about killing at all there... Oh wait, here's some more not teaching about murdering people..

6 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. 9 You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 11 Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no one among you will do such an evil thing again.

12 If you hear it said about one of the towns the Lord your God is giving you to live in 13 that troublemakers have arisen among you and have led the people of their town astray, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods you have not known), 14 then you must inquire, probe and investigate it thoroughly. And if it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done among you, 15 you must certainly put to the sword all who live in that town. You must destroy it completely, both its people and its livestock. 16 You are to gather all the plunder of the town into the middle of the public square and completely burn the town and all its plunder as a whole burnt offering to the Lord your God. That town is to remain a ruin forever, never to be rebuilt. [Deuteronomy 13]

And I haven't even touched on the Christian preachers who literally preach mass murder and even genocide to their congregation.

How about we start with Pastor Kevin Swanson, who preached about killing LGBT while dancing around on a stage like a bleached baboon? Haven't heard that one? The horror show starts from around 6:10 into the video. Not content, they discussed how these killings should take place and they also handed out flyers about how gays should be killed.

Pastor Steven Anderson preaches about killing gays often. In December 2014, he preached about how gays should be wiped out for an AIDS free Christmas. He also commented on how this latest mass shooting was a good thing. And he wasn't alone. There are many more. But this is just a quick sample of Christian preachers preaching killing people and praising the killing of gays.

Please, can the total crap that you peddle on this site. No one is buying it.

I would suggest you find evidence of this. It is safe to say that you are drawing your last straws on this site. Your bullshit won't be tolerated anymore. So you had best find evidence of this ridiculous claim.

You do realise this is false, yes?

Bullshit. More lies. And frankly, you are in no position to complain about corruption when Trump was found to have payed off Attorney Generals in at least two states to not investigate him for fraud over his so called sham of a university.

Or when he tried to bully people to sell him their homes for cheap and even took them to court because he didn't like how their old historic houses looked? I mean that's just in Scotland. He has a history of doing it in the US as well. Not to mention how Trump crowed about how he hoped the housing bubble would happen so he could make a quick buck.

    More bullshit.

    More conspiracy crap.

The USA was never, ever a melting pot. It was a melting pot for the whitest of people and the straightest of people. It's thanks to good Christians who refuse to bake cakes that these people were shot.
  8. PhysBang Valued Senior Member

But they do not arrest them. And Republicans get mad that they have the list at all.

    Europeans at one time. Yes.
I find it amusing that people want so badly to blame the Orlando shooting on Christians.

This is the most insane part of the story (to me anyway): Omar Mateen was a licensed security guard (with a firearms license) and he was employed by the US subsidiary G4S plc, a British multinational mercenary group / 'security' company, that contracts through the Department of Homeland Security where he was paid BY the US Government to drive (get this) vanloads of illegal immigrants away from border and drop them off in various cities around the US.

    • Despite my sympathies, this is not the appropriate way to handle the problem
Really? Well, fuck you. I'm not sure why you find continued homophobia, including the advocating laws to kill homosexuals, is funny. ( ) My guess is it is because you are a worthless piece of shit.

Surely you cannot be this obtuse?

Probably because of the rising homophobic propaganda from the Christian right.

From advocating killing gays, demanding and pushing for laws that strip LGBT of their fundamental human rights, fostering and preaching homophobia in other countries which have resulted in horrific laws (because of their encouragement for such laws) that results in the deaths of homosexuals, to even having Christian leaders praising the Pulse Nightclub massacre in Orlando and saying that it was a shame more were not killed.

“People say, like: ‘Well, aren’t you sad that 50 sodomites died?’ ” Jimenez said, referencing the initial death toll in Orlando, which authorities later clarified included 49 victims plus the gunman. “Here’s the problem with that. It’s like the equivalent of asking me — what if you asked me: ’Hey, are you sad that 50 pedophiles were killed today?’

“Um, no, I think that’s great. I think that helps society. You know, I think Orlando, Fla., is a little safer tonight.”

He added: “The tragedy is that more of them didn’t die. The tragedy is — I’m kind of upset that he didn’t finish the job!”

“I wish the government would round them all up, put them up against a firing wall, put a firing squad in front of them, and blow their brains out,” Jimenez said during his Sunday sermon, which Verity Baptist posted on its website under the title “the Christian response to the Orlando murders.”

I fail to see how you find it so amusing. How long have they demonised the LGBT community, made them out to be paedophiles and a danger to children, for example? They have fed and fostered the rage and anger towards the LGBT community.

I absolutely understand your rage, I really do. And I sympathise. But I'd suggest toning it down a bit.

The desperation to blame Christians for something that had nothing whatsoever to do with them is amusing. No, f**k you. The guy was a Muslim (possibly a homosexual himself). Real Christians don't go on a killing rampage. If you want to cite a law in Africa, fine. But the truth be known, Christians in Western culture are pretty damn lenient. They just don't go around with AR15s shooting up gay establishments. I would be willing to say that most Muslim countries are by far the least tolerant of homosexuality, while Christians are the most tolerant. Stop trying to twist this tragedy into an act of Christian violence. I know it's real tempting, but it actually looks real petty.
  14. Bowser Namaste Valued Senior Member

The shooter was not a Christian. When a Christian decides to shoot up a gay bar, then it can be blamed on a Christian. Yes, many Christians believe homosexuality is wrong, but in our culture, they don't go on a killing spree.

If somebody disagrees with someone's sexual orientation, does that make them complacent in a mass shooting?
  15. parmalee peripatetic artisan Valued Senior Member

Seriously, how has this fucking imbecile (Bowser) not been banned? I think most have come to the conclusion by now that he cannot possibly be as stupid as he pretends; rather, he is simply trolling--that's a bannable offense, right?

I mean, surely he hasn't forgotten that he was the one who introduced this Christian angle, and others simply pointed out that Christians have moved on to abortion providers, and, with regards to terrorism in general, less overt strategies. Where has anyone suggested that the shooter was a Christian?

Or maybe he is this stupid, in which case, I apologize. I guess.
  16. billvon Valued Senior Member

    Agreed. And both happen.
Oh, sometimes they do. Or they blow up an abortion clinic.
    Did you mean "complicit?"

If so, then no. Disagreeing with homosexuality does not make them complicit. Supporting homophobia does, to some degree - just as supporting assault against women entering abortion clinics makes people somewhat complicit in the Christian violence directed at doctors, clinics and hospitals. (Google the Westboro Baptists for someone complicit in both.)
  17. PhysBang Valued Senior Member

    Neither does a true Scotsman.
  18. Bowser Namaste Valued Senior Member

Must be rare for Christians, never hear about it.

How often? How many deaths were the result? Does it compare to shooting down 100 people?

Maybe you should define "homophobia." Is it an inclination to kill and injure, or is it just "disagreeing" with homosexuality? The word does seem to have a sweeping affect, pulling in many.

Kind of a confused paragraph. Protesting something is not the same as assaulting women. Standing outside an abortion clinic holding a sign is not the same as blowing it up. As far as the the Westboro Baptist are concerned, I don't believe they have ever been accused of attacking anyone.
  19. PhysBang Valued Senior Member

Or, perhaps, there are other reasons why you don't hear about it. Like maybe many prominent people, mostly Christians, try to skew reports. Or perhaps you do hear about it, but you forget it or choose to never bring these facts up.

Maybe you would like to read about that "law in Africa", because that is an example of Christian leaders in the USA advocating actually killing and imprisoning homosexuals, not merely "disagreeing" with homosexuality. This is hardly fringe behavior; it enters contemporary presidential politics.

You can pretend that there is not a significant amount of Christians in the USA that do more than protest, but your willful ignorance helps nobody.

    Mod Hat ― Intervention

You know, I handed out an infraction for PhysBang's insult.

That was a formality; rules are rules. But you also have exactly no grounds for such self-righteousness.

You need to recognize that nobody believes you. Your pretense of ignorance is exactly incompatible with the attention you show particular issues. And in this case I know you're damn well aware of history, since we discussed these issues a long, long time ago. Is there some issue we need to know about that has denigrated your faculties in some way, because either you have no idea how offensive you've managed to make yourself in recent times, or have some idea and that's the point.

People recognize you choose to conduct yourself in bad faith, Bowser.

It is problematic and antisocial behavior. Get your head on straight.

Do you hear what representatives from the FBI are saying. The President has put handcuffs on the FBI, making it easier for Muslim terrorists. For example, the shooter posted many of its intention on social media, but the FBI is not allowed to use. The FBI is not allowed in Muslim communities in America, and can only act if a representative from the Muslim community requests their assistance. Since no Muslim spoke up, the FBI had to sit on their hands and let it happen. What is going on in Obama's head?

    Obama's CVE program.

Under the CVE strategy, Obama has blocked FBI investigators from examining the supposedly non-political and peaceful networks of mosques that actually nurture jihadi attitudes, while redirecting FBI attention to less dangerous non-Islamic groups, such as small-government militias. The strategy has also put FBI agents under the supervision of an oversight panel influenced by Muslim political activists, including an immigrant who reportedly welcomed the slaughter of 3,000 Americans in 2001 by her Muslim co-religionists.
  22. billvon Valued Senior Member

Google Jacob D. Robia. It didn't make the news because he wasn't Muslim (and he shot fewer people.)
Or Ronald Crumpley, or the Upstairs Lounge arson attack.
Pretty often. Eleven deaths so far.
Literally fear of homosexuals. More colloquially used as an intense dislike of homosexuals. As Morgan Freeman recently put it: "I hate the word homophobia. It's not a phobia. You are not scared. You are an asshole."
It is not "just disagreeing" with homosexuality. If you just don't like homosexuality, but you treat gays the same way as anyone else, and do not seek to restrict their rights or marginalize them, you're not a homophobe.
I accuse them of being complicit in creating the environment that led to tragedies like this one (but mainly the lesser abuses that most gays have to live through.) "GOD LOVES DEAD FAGS" is going to have the desired effect in some people, and incite them to violence.
