I could post links just a week ago, now I can't. I understand the site had SPAM problems, but 50 posts to post links is quite steep. It eventually creates more annoyance, when new members go through all threads, and post meaningless miniposts the get their 50.
you might try: after cutting and pasting (or drag and dropping) the link put a few spaces in it and inform the readers to remove the spaces. you might also PM a mod for some help in getting your links posted.
Several sites I have been on have required that 50 posts, I didn't think it was too high a number myself. If I wasn't interested enough in the site content and discussions to interact with the other members sufficiently to acquire that 50 post count, it was because I was someplace else participating. Why? Because that site engaged me more than the first. It is a matter of the quality of the members engagement and contribution IMHO. If you have a bunch of posts on a site you are more invested in being a site presence than if you have 1 or 10..... .....or like some of us, maybe a little eccentric or hyper-focused, not that there is anything wrong with that.
