To the mods: If you erase a post, could you please inform us? Would it be so much to ask for a PM of why it was erased, or even to acknowledge the fact that it was erased somehow so I don't think I'm going crazy?
Usually, when posts are erased a moderator will leave a note in the relevant thread explaining why the posts were deleted. Looking at your recent posts, I can't see any that have been erased.
Here is a thread that may shed some light into it. Or maybe the lack of light shedding will do just as good. http://www.sciforums.com/showthread.php?t=109607 Edit: I just noticed that my original post in that thread was edited as well. It used to contain a printscreen of a deleted post, as evidence that it had been posted. I still have that printscreen, I will post it here later (I'm on my phone right now.)
Happened to me 4 times in 24h on the day the thread above was posted. It could make a person feel gagged, I'd say.
The thread that was deleted had several other user's posts in it. Were they all trolling and insulting? How will we ever know? The whole thread is gone.
Varda, let it go. This will accomplish nothing. And it was Plazma Inferno! himself that deleted your posts. Also, the posts are not gone. They can still be viewed by supermoderators and admins.
LOL no I know. Don't care. So what? They should have the decency to come out and admit to the membership that post deletions are arbitrary and amount to record burning. What great good that does us!
