Actually there is less insulting in the cesspool than in the regular subforums.

Because people with a skewed sense of self-importance also have a skewed sense of importance of the cesspool. It is a place not worthy of their brilliant intellectual insults.

I predict that the level of insult in a thread diminishes after it lands in the cesspool.

Indeed the regular subforums could do with a dose less self importance, I could imagine some good coming from some of our more intelligent posters landing in there amongst the hoi polloi

do you want a mod for the cesspool

A) i think it would improve the cesspool/sciforums in general
B) i doubt it would have much/any effect - i couldnt care
C) I think it would make the cesspool/sciforums in general worse

cos i reckon most people that would choose B or C in my poll would vote no in the current poll
