This Forum is Awesome, Nice to Be Here! It is a pleasure to meet you all! I live in [Moderation - deletion of your home address].
Mod Note Hello Israel Welcome to Sciforums. I do apologise for editing your OP. I did so to remove the home address that you posted. This is a public forum, and your post is open to anyone - member and/or guest - to read. As such, posting your real name and your address with it and an explanation of how to reach your place of residence can be inherently dangerous. Moderators strive to not edit or interfere with people's posts. However I took the liberty and the steps to remove your home address and the description you gave of where you live. The reasons are obvious, as stated above, putting that kind of information about yourself out there has its dangers. We actively encourage our members to not post such personal information about themselves on this site (and pretty much anywhere on the internet if truth be told).
Normal intelligence is a lousy reason to abort a foetus. Some highly intelligent infants grow up to be sociopaths and other kinds of bad person, while normal, low normal and sub-normal individuals often become good and useful ones. How did you turn out?
I only speak for myself, no one else: I 100% prefer to have been aborted than to have to live in the socio-economic life of someone with an IQ of 110. Having to live without being able to understand advanced mathematics, quantum mechanics, and engineering science is a life not worth living. My existence is an insult to the physical world. How I turned out: two year college degree in Liberal Studies. No criminal record, never been to jail, no wife or children at age 38. Blue collar worker my whole life, live in constant poverty. Political leaning: Democrat, very liberal, Obama is awesome. Philosophy: atheist/agnostic, empiricist, nihilist.
That's nuts. There's lots you can do without understanding advanced mathematics. I don't understand it either, and I do just fine.
I am glad you value your life, and I wish you all the happiness, success, and contentment in the world.
You still sound normal to me. And probably quite worth having in the world. Sad and hopeless is normal now. (Except, of course, Obama isn't awesome; he's just another sad and hopeless Dem struggling to get the least little necessary thing done in that benighted country. I envy him a lot less than I admire him.)
You can have it too. Success isn't just about intelligence. It's about being resourceful, taking chances, using opportunities that come along. Do you have computer skills?

You sound a lot like Nihilism. Why are you posting under two avatars? http://www.sciforums.com/showthread...th-and-Physics-Sections&p=3198902#post3198902
President Obama should be considered one of the top five greatest Presidents in American history for all his achievements, such as finally stopping Osama Bin Laden.
