...but can anyone reading this get a computer to divide by zero. It is something computers cannot do but recently I have discovered how to do such a thing. I am interested in whether anyone else has this capability or if I am the first. In anticipation of your replies, Waiter.
Since the result of "dividing by zero" is mathematically undefined and essentially meaningless I'd be intrigued as to what "answer" you got.
What a silly exercise. If you have succeeded, you have done no more than find a glitch in the computer software somewhere.
To all the non-believers: put this in your pipe and smoke it; (((((x-(x+x))*(x-(x+x)))+1)/(((x-(x+x))*(x-(x+x)))+1))-1) Simply add one before the divide, do the same after (the same to "both sides") and remember to minus one from the result!
