After moderating for my first night I would like to say that I was wrong that that in fact people do get World Event and politics screwed up! The idea of a renaming World events and Politics sub-forums to “International News” and “Domestic News” now seems very appealing. The way I see it: International News = Between 2 or more countries Domestic News = Between only 1 country, internal affairs of one country. Let me give examples of how this splits up with thread examples if they were to exist in these hypothetical sub-forums: “Bush vs Kerry” = Domestic “War on iraq” = International “WMD found. really.” = between UsofA and Iraq = International “Catholic Church: anti-Zionism = anti-Semitism” = Between catholic church (HQ itally) and Israel = International “John Walker Lindh, now that some time has passed.” = Domestic “So What that John Kerry is Gay.” = Domestic “Best Refutation Yet for Farenheit 9/11” = Domestic Though many issues can be in a gray area I feel this system would be easier to understand, separate and post correctly in
