Since "eyes" seem to be the theme, I had the bf take a closeup on macro setting: Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! (note: the age lines. I never notice them until I look at pictures. Guess I'm about the right age) And, this would be me (taken, like ten minutes ago), standing in front of my portrait of Mr. Sherman. no, i wasn't tripping. i remember being disappointed with the effects of acid when i tried it in college. it all makes sense now.
I call my eyes "blue". Medium blue. No contacts. I had Lasik a few years back, so the color is au naturale! ~String
Here's that baby picture of you that you sent me: Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Now it all makes sense.
I'm a total mutt. My mother was German and probably English, but on my father's side I'm Quebecois (French, Algonquin Indian**), English and Irish. Some of my ancestry--like most New Worlders is muddy, though I've invested considerable effort in finding out my ancestry. My boyfriend calls HIM my boyfriend (jokingly; I don't know why; it's not like I obsess about the guy; I have numerous historical figures on my wall). ~String **This is actually where my family records are clear, and only recently. My paternal grandmother is a southern bell, but her parents were both from Quebec and would travel to Roanoke, VA every December and stay through spring to trade fur that they trapped and/or raised in Quebec. The business being so good, they started making the furs into coats, and from there they just stopped trading and started selling and opened a business in Roanoke where the family--to this day--still sells furs.
Interesting, my mother comes from Pulaski and her family has lived in Roanoke I remember visiting as a boy. I'll have to check if there was any fur trading in the family.
Paternal grandmother claims that her husband (long since deceased) had Portuguese in him, but her husband is not the father of my biological father (she had a first husband who was English/Irish, who left her and her second husband adopted my biological father. . . who, in turn, left my mother when she was pregnant with me, and I was adopted by my mother's second husband; interesting turn of events). I speak Spanish because I lived in Spain as a student. ~String
I lost you about halfway there.. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Ah, I see. I asked because you said in another thread that Spain is your second homeland.
You have really gorgeous eyes. Like sparkling jewels. I'm envious. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Here's a quick flash of my eyes. At a distance they look black, but I have my mums eyes. They are a kind of deep brown. My hair is the same, dark brown though you can only see the highlights in good light Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
